The Assignment

The Assignment:

This blog will be used to have students respond to the essential questions of the course. Students must post their responses to the following questions:
What does it mean to be human? (must be completed by the last week of September)
What are inalienable rights? (must be completed by the last week of October)
What does it mean to be a citizen of the world? (must be completed by the last week of November)

Student must choose one question from the following list to which they will post a response (must be completed by the last week of December):
What is humanity?
What is the relationship between empathy and sympathy?
What is the relationship between tolerance and acceptance?
Why do we read? Write? Sing? Make movies?
How do we identify bias?
